There are a couple of big misunderstandings that drag on too long and I wanted more closure with the ending.

But this book isn’t just about a Phoenix rising from the ashes—it’s also has a fake dating romance that I think readers will enjoy.I felt bad for her on hearing her full story about her heartbreak that lead to burning the building she was living in, at the same time it also made me laugh. The writing was also frustrating for me, too similar to the author’s other books and a lot of the plot felt contrived bc it just didn’t make sense. She has a couple of books releasing in the next year I’m excited about and that I’ll definitely be reading. The characters were great, and like the plot was very focused on the romance but OMG it was so good.

It was already woe-is-me music, but when she started crooning about a fire starting in her heart, it made me think about the fire that started on my deck, and I totally lost it. Anything bad happens, losing job, finding he is Mr Wrong Number, Colin setting up things, her knee jerk reaction is “Colin has motive of making her look fool and he used knowlege of her being Miss Misdial as advantage”. What I loved most about Olivia and Colin’s slow-burn romance was that the former always seemed to be a disaster in all occasions whereas the latter was perpetually composed.Perfect for fans of Christina Lauren, this deeply relatable romance proves that love may be closer than you expect. I might have read this if I had just picked it up, but knowing the main character is annoying, lies etc. But he’s also handsome, successful, and smart, and Olivia would be lying if she said she didn’t find him attractive.
