The female narrator was fine when reading her POV, but when the male’s POV includes a woman’s voice - yuck!

Amo and Greta share a connection the moment they lay eyes on each other (sounds corny ik) and try to see each other in secret. While I love a gentle and patient king, I just wanted Amo to go feral ONCE and fuck her through the roof.

I was surprised to see who Maximus's lover was in the book, but I am so excited to see the snippet that I did. It was so interesting to have a heroine who is neuro divergent and experience the world from her perspective such as what it is like to have sensory overload, the need for routine and pattern in life, the difficulty in not understanding nuance in faces and language, the analytical logical approach to life difficulties. She’s also a character that goes and fights for what she wants, that is so reasonable, always attached to reality, and that is someone who cares so much about people she loves.

Her POV sounded so robotic 🤖🤖🤖 (Nino say hello) when she would only think about her family, Amo and the safety of animals. I loved the contrast between the mechanical way in which she formed her thoughts into words and the cuteness of the objects of her constant worries.

It feels like I spent an eternity waiting for this book to come out, and I can barely believe that Amogreta are already here. Being back in the Falcones mansion, please I missed them and they really reminded me of why they are one of my fav fam. Amo Vitiello and Greta Falcone is a highly anticipated couple for me since Cora announced their pairing a few years ago, and I am still in awe that they are finally here.

She's a little star and her and Greta deliver that mom-daughter duo dynamic I have been missing in the past releases. In my eyes, that scene devalued Amo's personal passion and ambition rather than showed the extent of his insta feelings for Greta.My interest in the story went through some trying physical strain bouncing up ↗️{0-20%} and down ↘️ up ↗️{35-50%} and down ↘️up ↗️{70-85%} and down ↘️. I'm glad I kept reading this because I was very put off in the first few chapters but as soon as the storyline progressed I couldn't put the book down.

Pussy whipped' is a nice characterisation but it's not saying much when it turns out the hero's whole fucking personality. I really enjoyed this book and will listen to it again, as I have often listened to Remos and Luca's stories. Getting bits and pieces of the Capuleti Falcone and Montecchi Vitiello families gave me a warm nostalgic feeling I still can't shake off. While you see these men who are men to be brutal and scary, the way they love their families is so sweet.After a little boy who chased his sister, and then an immature teenager who did not believe that he would ever fall in love, there is no trace left.
