Description

Throughout the game, players can take numerous actions to earn points, and the player who reaches the points goal first will win. There are multiple actions players can take, but the game is all about resource management and crafting. The aim of this fun, quirky card game is simple; you need to be the first to reach the points goal. The Minecraft card game can be played between 2 – 4 people, and the points goal varies depending on the number of players. This player has acquired 20 points in a three player game. They have acquired enough points to win the game. My Thoughts on Minecraft Card Game? If a player desires a craft card but is unable to pay for it, they are allowed to place their card in "Reserve", which simply involves taking the craft card they want and placing it in their card holder. Then, when the player has mined the required resources, they are allowed to use an action on their turn to trade the resources in and get the card out of "Reserve", which is then placed with the player's other craft cards. When a player mines a card and removes it from a pile, if they expose a Creeper card beneath it then ALL PLAYERS must discard a resource card of their choice. The Creeper card is then placed in the discard pile.

Shuffle all of the Resource Cards. Deal the cards into five face down piles. When all of the cards are dealt out, flip over each pile. Each craft card has a point value, which is used by the player for adding points. The tool associated with the craft card can also be used by the player during the game (see this section for more info). Now clearly, the Minecraft card game isn’t played in the same way. But the card game does carry over many of the same principles. Player’s will need to manage resources, including wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamonds. Before we look at the rules, let’s see how the game works in more detail. What is The Minecraft Card Game?

Craft

Points are scored as per the scoring system below, by adding up all the card values from the other players. Also, the Craft Cards have a Game Point Value and Crafted Tool associated with them. The points are what you add up to win the game, and you may use the Tool during game play (more on that later).

Minecraft is a game of resource management, and there are many different materials in play. Wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond are all included, and some are rarer than others. Players need to gather resources to build tools and earn points. Craft Cards/ Tools TNT: If a player mines a TNT card, it must be played immediately. The player must then take the top card of the other four resource piles, but are only allowed to keep two cards; only resource or "Wild" cards are allowed to be kept. Then, the TNT card and the other two cards drawn are put into the discard pile. Wild cards have a number allocated to them as well. So, for example, a wild two-card can be used as two of any resource. However, the resources can’t be split, so they cannot be used as one stone and one diamond. On their turn, a player may perform 2 Actions. Once you have completed your 2 Actions, it is the next player's turn. Minecraft is one of the most popular video games in the world. Released in 2011, the game has maintained its popularity for over a decade now. But the game has also taken on numerous other forms, including fun and imaginative card games. Each tool a player "crafts" has a special power. A player may use the powers at any time, and using one does not count as an action. When a tool's power is used, the player is to flip the craft card face down to show that the tool was used. Points on the card are counted even if the tool is used. The tool can only be used once. The tool powers are as follows: Shuffle all resource cards, and then deal them face down into five piles of fifteen cards each. Then, turn each pile over so that all cards in each pile are face up. That is not to say that the Minecraft Card Game? is a strategy filled game. Instead it feels like your typical card game with a few more mechanics added in to add a little more strategy. In a lot of ways the game is similar to a lot of simple card games. Your decisions on any given turn are usually pretty obvious. Therefore you can play the game without putting a ton of thought into every individual decision. There are some points in the game where the decision you make will have an impact on the outcome though. I could actually see the game working pretty well as a gateway game. It is far from the best game that I have ever played, but I still enjoyed playing it and could see a lot of other people liking it as well. Similar to the Wild card, this card can be played on top of all colors. But there is a twist, the next player also needs to draw four cards and loses their turn. Besides that, the player that plays the card gets to choose the color the card should represent, just like the Wild card. Uno Minecraft has 112 cards in total, which is a bit more than the usual. 2-10 players may take part in the game. The goal of the game is to discard all your cards before the other players do, and to accumulate a score of 500 points (or a number that everyone is ok with).
