Also as a witch I think she should of known it was the real him in her dreams…I didn’t buy that it was her imagination at all which made the confrontation fall flat for me

Parts are edge-of-your-seat intense. Parts are funny. Parts are swoony. And, yes, parts will break your heart. This story is so good!

I’ve been *very* spoiled, receiving an ARC of The Unblessed Witch by indie author Miranda Lyn! This mesmerising novella follows on from The Unmarked Witch duology & you *will* need to read those books before diving into this one! But let’s focus on giving you an overview for this one now, shall we?

I am obsessed. I read this any free chance that I had and for good reason. The world building, the characters, the magic system, the entire plot were all written so beautifully.

Okay okay so I'm not a holiday novella kinda girlie. I tend to skip them, same with holiday episodes of shows. It takes me a while to get into a story, so novellas tend to be paced a bit strangely for me. But I loved the Unmarked Witch duet so much that when Miranda put up an arc form and told us who the story would revolve around, I couldn't help myself. I am going to start off this review with a little history...I found Miranda Lyn Last year and started with her Fae Rising Series. I love this series, in fact its one of my all time favorites to read. I was afraid this book wasn't going to be able to hold a candle to her other series.....LET ME BE CLEAR.....THIS BOOK.....The Unmarked Witch.......IS INCREDIBLE. One of the absolute best witch books I have ever read. I fell head over heels and can't wait for you all to read it!

Touches on some tough topics like guilt and loss but without being dense and having fun and enjoyable parts, it's the perfect addition to the Unmarked Witch Series, which is one of my favorite fantasy duologies.Better a villain by truth than a hero by lies. I'll be the devil in your story if that's what you need, but I will not apologize for what I choose to protect.”
