Neither Mitchell nor MacMath, now a portrait photographer have seen their daughter since early 1965 when she was born in Toronto and handed to an adoption agency. The couple met at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. While Morgellons is often described politely as a 'mysterious' disease, the overwhelming medical opinion is that sufferers have a psychological — rather than a physical — illness. X is mentally unstable, an alcoholic, a drug user and an addict obsessed with pornography. She alleges his best friends are criminals and female escorts. And, she alleges, he abused their daughter. However, Ms. Gibb married Paul Kohler, a Toronto-based talent agent, in 1992 after a two-year courtship. The couple had a boy a year later but separated in mid-1995. It was then that Mr. Joni developed new jazz chops in the late '90s. Gone were the days of her singing with an acoustic guitar and a few mics. It was orchestral accompaniment now.
