Jess is the heroine of the book. She’s got a LOT going on in her personal life, and she just lost her mother. Still, I would have like to have seen her a little less snarky. I did appreciate the fact that she was motivated to learn more about everything that was happening to her instead of playing the victim. Evan’s not around much, but when he is, he is super sweet and makes for a great book boyfriend. Jess also has a great roommate in Tia. Even though she was OCD and somewhat sheltered, I really liked Tia, and I think she did a great job of balancing out Jess’ snarkiness.
