I liked how different the paranormal story was, how the vampire of the group wasn’t the one that everyone was lusting after. Don't let my review stop you from reading this though, I know there are lots out there who loved this book! The shifts between characters were not always easy to identify and the book really needed more dialogue tags. There was definitely some chemistry and potential between the woman (ghost) and the nonbinary (mythical being).

Obviously, this is a book about supernaturals so this isn't based on real-life, but I'm talking about the fact that Aurie gets hit by a car, DIES, discovers she's turned into a ghost, and then later that night is thirsting over Mys? It wasn't an issue during the first half of the book as the narration was much more focused on the characters and their relationship.
