It’s a great design, much sturdier and cleaner that those flimsy tin ones and actually a lot easier to fill that I thought it might be. My smart bunker arrived today, delighted with it! Very heavy and very sturdy! Niall is a pleasure to deal with! Highly recommended! Functionality meets convenience with the top-loading hatch featuring a secure handle, making fuel loading a breeze. And when it’s time to get that fire roaring, the sliding front access door ensures you can easily retrieve your coal. Plus, the baffle plate fitted within relieves pressure off the contents, ensuring smooth sliding of the front door and optimal coal condition. It has to be one of the best presents I’ve had. We love it! The coalman loves it. We’ve been showing it off and making the neighbours envious. Great product and fantastic customer service. I had a slight problem after 2 years of perfect use and the customer service I received from Niall was first class! Thank you.

Wonderful idea! I put it together in 5 minutes and it looks like a sturdy piece of kit that will last a long time. I use it for coal and I use Welsh Anthracite small nuts and it works fine! I will recommend this product to anyone that burns solid fuel. I bought a smart bunker a few years ago. and i would highly recommend one to anyone. super product and easy to use with zero mess. Great post! I have one of the bunkers at home and it’s a fantastic product. I was fed up ruining clothes when getting coal, great idea. I’m happy to say that I couldn’t be happier with my bunker. It is not a thing of beauty but it so clever and very, very practical. The only issue I have is that it only holds three bags of fuel, and with the Aga on I use a bag a week so the coalman has to come every three weeks. Apart from this annoyance the bunker is the most wonderful, easy and efficient way to get coal in and out. The smart bunker has been helpful as it is a great place to store our coal and it certainly keeps it dry. The access door agin is of a solid design and once any surplus fuel is cleared this closes easily. Highly recommend the product and the company
