Cal needs to sell his grandfather’s house, in a small town in Lake Wisteria, to get access to his shares and money. Lana wants to sell the house for 3 million so Cal decided to help renovate the house so they can sell it. one of my big issues with the previous books were how they didn’t feel like stories beyond the basic tropes they utilised.

Lana dated a guy named Victor for a few months after her mom died and he was bad so everyone scared him outta the town.

There are a few flashbacks, however, with a book 600 pages I expected the author to really dive into the emotional history of the two of them. Wyatt and Cal’s friendship was too funny, they were fighting over who can read Cami a bedtime story. Cal is held accountable for his actions (low-key thought people were a bit too harsh on him at times) but his willingness to change, to be held accountable, to put the work into change his behaviour? So many scenes and things about him I love so much, but I don't want to bore you with this never-ending review. and i'll come back to this book, regularly, because despite all the tears i shed, cal and alana were a source of pure joy.

It warmed my heart that this book was our very first buddy read (yes, a first buddy read for each one of us and a first buddy read together, a first of many, I hope) and it will, for that reason as well, always hold a special place in my heart. No one is willing to give it to her though, or let her near her daughter - except Ledger Ward after he finds out the truth Kenna has been hiding all these years. Dreamland Billionaires is the first book in a series of interconnected standalones following three billionaire brothers. Cami always checked up on Cal during her party and led him to the cake, she wished he would be her new daddy. if it wasn’t for Cami i would probably round down, but she is too adorable and the Cami + Cal scenes together were cute and saved the book for me.Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Medical conditions play a huge role in our everyday life and if a little lighthearted romance can teach you something, let it be how to (and not to) treat people with them.

The next instance is she constantly claims that she wants to support Cal with his addiction BUT she never does. In this book, his journey to finding a motive for getting better and his recovery were (in my opinion) done very well. Their grandpa knew their dad would get sober for his shares and took them away, he had another harder route but he chose the easier one. Cal sees Lana near the river and asks what’s wrong and Lana asks him why he’s selling the house, hoping he would be honest. Final Offer is the third and final book in a series of interconnected standalones following three billionaire brothers. If you're looking for the spicy chapters in Final Offer , head to chapters 32, 33, 34, 38, 39, 42, and 58. his recovery felt too easy, it happens extremely fast even tho majority of the book is him struggling w alcohol use.

Final Offer wasn’t a terrible book; however, for a book ending this trilogy I expected it to go out with a bang. This (anti)hero is perhaps the most “broken” man I’ve ever rooted for in a love story; he’s actively addicted, terrified of feeling his pain, and forced to confront the one woman who has always held his heart. she was childish, preaches abt not falling into the same patterns, but would give cal so many chances, she would always jump to conclusions, find so many excuses to hate him and not trust him and would say the most insensitive shit when she was angry.

There was never any mention of her trying to contact Cal to keep him updated regarding her life even as a friend or just checking how he was doing as a friend. The first three chapters were the hardest to read as it kept going on and the flashbacks made no sense.
