Personalmente sono rimasto veramente molto sorpreso e soddisfatto da Hotel Transylvania, ne ho apprezzato quella semplicità e quel romanticismo di fondo che non vedevo in un film d'animazione da molto tempo. Ho visto una miriade di film d'animazione e mai come negli ultimi anni mi sono ritrovato ad essere così piacevolmente soddisfatto dal film ed affezionato ai suoi protagonisti: Dracula è un padre iper protettivo che farebbe di tutto per proteggere la figlia; Jonathan è un ragazzo che, nonostante lo "spavento" iniziale di avere a che fare con dei mostri veri, lascerà andar via ogni pregiudizio per stringere un legame forte con loro; Mavis è in tutto e per tutto adorabile, una ragazza piena di curiosità di sapere cosa c'è nel mondo con una voglia matta di scoprirne ogni piccola sfumatura, entusiasta di qualsiasi cosa "nuova", anche se piccola ed apparentemente insignificante.
