has some nice features, the range of game modes are impressive and allow for a bit of competitive nature when playing with friends. Its wide variety of modes make it a hugely entertaining release to play with friends or by yourself, and the vast range of songs ensures that you'll always have something to sing. However, if you are more co-ordinated than me then you’ll enjoy the selection of dances, which fit nicely into the songs and range in difficulty. There is no hip-hop and the closest that you will get to rock is indie darlings Maroon 5 or Coldplay. All image and audio content is used by permission of the copyright holders or their agents, and/or according to fair dealing as per the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Occasionally one of the notes will turn gold and players are challenged to hit these for a point bonus. At the end of the song, you're awarded VoxPoints depending on how well you performed and these points can be used to unlock game modes on each song. Johnny, I'm going to see them in York next month, can't wait, only got the first three albums at the moment. The amount of game modes is as varied as the song list: in addition to the Classic and Duet modes, you've got plenty of other variations that are fun to play. There's the traditional Classic mode in which players simply sing along to the song, or there is Pass The Mic mode where multiple players share one microphone. Please note: Virtual goods are eligible for PayPal Credit with the exception of electronic gift cards and software downloads. Unlike ‘Singstar’ for the PlayStation 2 and 3 – which I still think holds the award as the best series of karaoke games – the interface doesn’t show where you are hitting compared to the actual note but instead colours the notes as green or blue if you do great or OK, or orange or red if you do badly or, you know, worse, which doesn’t make it quite as easy to balance your pitch, which is a shame. You won't be finding noughties or nineties hits in here, though – most of the songs were released in 2013 or later, save for James Blunt's You're Beautiful, which came out a grand 11 years ago. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if the Wii remote really can pick up the dance moves you’re doing or just guesses.

Other multiplayer modes include ‘20,000’ where you play against your friends with the first to 20,000 points winning the bragging rights. Discover the various exciting game modes that are quick and easy accessible via the new and user-friendly interface which gives you direct access to the playlist. What makes this outing interesting is the addition of Golden Notes, which are special high notes that are hard to hit, yet reward you with extra points if you do.Their lack of wireless ability is the least of your problems however, as they just don’t work particularly well. Karaoke aficionados who prefer a challenge may instead be interested in By Heart mode, which is the same as Classic mode only with players having to remember the words when presented with the occasional missing line of lyrics.
