This means that we may soon see exactly how the two combine when Sony reveals more about its first drone soon. Sony has previously said that it'll be launching "a new business targeted for professional photography and video production in the spring of 2021", which means sometime between March and May. But Sony says that its electronic Clear Image Zoom function –which lets you get 2x zoom with any lens by intelligently creating pixels, rather than simply cropping – is very popular with pro filmmakers, and this function will also work with the FX3's zoom lever. 4. The FX3 has cooling fans for longer record times On the face of it, these cameras offer the same 4K video recording capabilities and slow-motion capture of up to 240fps in full HD. However, while the FX30 and FX3 can both capture 4K 120p video, the FX30 has to use a much tighter 1.6x crop, while the FX3’s 120p crop factor is only 1.1x.
