heaping tbsp kitchen king masala (or garam masala. You might need less garam masala, so add a tablespoon at first, then add more if needed after tasting) There are eight ingredients listed below (besides salt) but two of those are optional. You can leave them out if not available and the curry will still be delicious. It takes all of five, maybe 10 minutes, to put together the sauce for this easy tofu curry, but it has so much flavor, you could pretend you've been slogging at the stove all day and let them do the dishes. 😉

Try it today, or the next time you're looking to make dinner in a hurry. You'll come away feeling like a star because this is not just delicious and gorgeous food--it's incredibly healthy as well. You don't need a vegetable side here but if you want you can serve a yummy potato dish like Jeera Aloo or Bombay Potatoes. I love Thai food, and I've shared with you a few of my favorite recipes in the past, mainly perennial favorites like Thai green curry, red curry and yellow curry.Dal can be made with one or a mix of several legumes, including toor dal, urad dal, chana dal, moong dal, and many more. All lentils are amazingly healthy, and combined with a grain like rice or wheat they make a complete protein.

Throughout my school years we had several History classes, we're very pride of our history, despite all the "dark aspects" of it, and I remember very well when my History teacher told us about the Route of Spices, it's how the Portuguese people called the way/path (by sea)that the sailors did to get in to Goa and how they exchanged their merchandise by India merchandise and spices. Remove all the moisture from the zucchini. It is critical you do this, because zucchini has a lot of moisture and if you skip this step, or make a half-hearted effort, you will end up with a watery mess that you won't be able to form into koftas. To do this: Curry leaves (kadi patta/karuveppilai). Curry leaves add amazing flavor so they are well worth using if you have them or can access them. The recipe has nine grams of protein and seven grams of fiber in a single serving, making it one of the healthiest foods you can eat. What's not to love? Why you will love this dal recipe

To make the curry, fry the onions, and when they start to turn golden brown add the ginger garlic paste. You need very little of it, no more than half a teaspoon. We've done the hard work - so you can create your unique curry in minutes. All you have to do is decide what to add! If you are familiar with Indian cuisine and love a good dal, I've already shared with you some of my all time favorite Indian lentil recipes, including Dal Tadka, vegan Dal Makhani, Parsi Vegetable Dhansak, Rajasthani Panchmel Dal, Whole Masoor Dal and Spicy Urad Dal. If you don't have curry leaves, use cilantro as a substitute. Add them to the recipe at the same time as you would the curry leaves. Garam masala: You don't absolutely need this, but a bit of garam masala stirred into the vindaloo toward the end of cooking adds more depth to the dish. The veggies I used for this Indian curry are onions, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, zucchini, bell peppers and turnips. Sweet potatoes, squashes, peas are all fine additions. Stay away from leafy veggies or others that will take longer to cook, like eggplant, unless you are willing to roast the eggplant first. Roasted eggplant would go really well with this keema curry. Once you have added the coconut milk, make sure you reduce the heat to a simmer. Turn off the heat as soon as you've added the final ingredients. There is a small chance that the coconut milk will curdle if you boil it too long, but if it does, don't be alarmed--the curry will still taste fabulous. A school meal is something that most of us take for granted for our children. But for India's urban poor, a regular free school meal means they are more likely to be enrolled in school, rather than the alternative to be sent to work. A free school meal also means that children are then more likely to stay in school, receive a nutritious meal, receive an education, and have better job prospects at the end of it. Case studies have shown than not only does the child benefit greatly, but their families can be pulled out of the poverty cycle in the long run. Win win! Protein: I don't add any vegan meat to the vindaloo, but you can add sliced vegan sausages, if you like. Baked tofu, such as the air-fryer tofu I shared last, would be divine here. I don't recommend adding beans to this dish because the flavors of a vindaloo sauce won't work as well with beans. If you are looking for a Goan dish with beans, try this vegan feijoada instead. Mixed veggies(I used frozen and chopped multicolored bell peppers. Look above for other veggie suggestions)
