It’s the latter we’re interested in here, with the launch of the Juice Nano Bar Speaker, a small, but surprisingly capable stereo speaker that measures 110 x 63 x 63mm and weighs 265g. This remarkable little Bluetooth speaker certainly has a lot going for it, but can it compete with the countless other portable Bluetooth speakers currently available? All this tech fits snugly into the Juice Bars handy carry-bag to prevent bumping your new favourite Juice accessory whilst on the move. The Bluetooth technology gives you the freedom to move your music with you around the home or out and about. In terms of audio performance, the Nano leaves the other portable speakers we’ve used in the past behind. Juicebar are new to the audio crowd, or at least I think they are. I’ve seen them releasing mobile power accessories but have never really explored their audio offerings. We were sent one of their new Juicebar, fronted by two separate left and right speakers. There is also the Juicebox on offer which houses one driver. What is a little disappointing is the sound on offer. You can’t really get much power from it without the music distorting. We tried several genres of music through the speaker, but unfortunately fell rather flat with each one, especially the more bass heavy genres such as Dubstep. When playing Freya Ridings – Waking Up it has a decent mid and highs but its the bass that falls down here but to the average listener this speaker is ideal. Bluetooth operating distance is 33 feet or 10 meters. Battery wise it gives you 6 hours on Bluetooth or 8 on AUX. You will find all the controls, not that there are more than one, on the rear of the speaker in the form of a power slider. You can set the speaker to Bluetooth or 3.5mm aux input which is also located on the rear of the speaker.

Just remember to charge before you leave home and you can listen to your music remotely when you do not have access to a power supply.
