But remember any pot under 6-inch diameter will do. Even plastic cups work ( and they are cheap for the amount)

Too wet – new seedlings don’t like “wet feet” so make sure your Rapid Rooter or growing medium never looks shiny or muddy, as that means there’s too much water! For this reason, it’s also usually recommended to avoid using a humidity dome with seedlings unless your air is dry. Although clones love humidity domes (they need water from the air because they don’t have any roots to get water), seedlings like it a little drier or roots tend to get mushy. If the medium is drying in less than 2 days, it means you need to give more water to the plant at a time, or possibly transplant to a bigger container if the plant has outgrown its current one. The “plugs” are made up of composted organic matter held together by plant-derived polymers. The Rapid Rooter plugs could be transplanted to all growing mediums. Lights Rapid Rooter plugs are made from this squishy, sponge-like stuff that’s really good at holding onto water. That’s crucial when you’re trying to get plant cuttings to grow or coaxing seeds to sprout. They create a cozy, clean space where plant roots can do their thing without any interference from nasty stuff like germs or mold. It’s like a little spa for your plant’s roots! When the seedlings are ready and sprouted perfectly, it’s time for transplanting the seedlings into the soil.Next, place the Rapid Rooter Plugs in a tray or container. Make sure to leave enough space between each plug to allow room for the plant to grow. Cover the Tray and Keep it in a Dark Place Compatibility: Rapid Rooter plugs are suitable for a wide range of plant species, making them versatile for various gardening purposes. It also allows for a lot of aeration and drainage. So it will not get waterlogged. If your seedlings get too wet, they will not be able to sprout properly. After you’ve planted your seeds, you can fill your grow tray with about a quarter inch of water and cover the entire tray to help keep a bunch of this moisture inside the tray. I’ve used Saran Wrap in the past with good success. From here, if you have low-intensity lighting, this will improve your germination rate by adding a little additional light as well as heat. How To Know When Your Seedlings Are Done:

If you look into the use of rapid rooter and root riot, maximum gardeners use rapid rooter. Maximum communities are reliant on rapid rooter plugs. Because they feel the same formula about two different products. But switching is not a bad option. It is not certain that you will get a 100% germination result. But you will experience 90-95% results from any of the root starters. Some gardeners use alternatives also. Alternatives of Rapid rooter and Root riot Light it is required for all plant growth stages except the very beginning. Some use just sunlight or a standard light bulb. These tend to get mediocre results. Add seedling level nutrients from the beginning. A lot of growers, especially soil growers, will tell you not to add any nutrients for the first few weeks of the plant’s life. That makes a lot of sense in soil, because there are lots of nutrients contained in the soil itself for your young cannabis seedling, and giving more right at the beginning can end up giving way too much for such a young plant. However, in hydro, the only nutrients your seedling gets is what’s in the water, plus what little was contained in the seed itself. Because of that, I highly recommend giving seedling-strength nutrients to your plants from when you first fill your reservoir. Seedlings grow a LOT faster with light levels of nutrients than if you only give plain, pH’ed water at first.

They should germinate in 1-4 days, though some seeds can take 7 days or longer (especially older and smaller seeds). If transplanting into the soil, make sure to dig a hole that is slightly larger than the plug to avoid damaging the roots. If transplanting into a container, make sure to use a well-draining soil mix that is appropriate for the plant variety. Part of the advantage is the air to water ratio, which is determined by the actual structure of the medium itself. The medium has to be able to hold water well and introduce oxygen to the delicate roots of the developing seedlings. Low oxygen conditions will surely kill plants of any stage or maturity, and you simply cannot risk this when you are investing in a large batch of new crops.
