Their love story did not come easy. It was hard. It had secrets, lies, twists and turns. But the passion that burns between them is absolutely mind blowing! This entire trilogy had me rooting for them while simultaneously cursing them out for everything. What a wild ride! A lot of plot twists were super predictable, at least to me, and I already knew the reason why Kirill's mother hated him and Karina and not Konstantin. It was so obvious that he might be the son of someone else she loved. The original Yuri was killed YEARS ago when the ''accident'' happened to him and Anton went through surgery to change his looks a bit to match, colored his hair, voice changing etc. I don’t like constant groveling. Half the book is Sasha fighting her feelings and I find that boring. This also means less intimate scenes which should be the best in a trilogy but not so many in this book. Sasha always regrets not telling Kirill stuff in the end and fighting her feelings. Yes he manipulated but he was also there for her. But one thing that I did hate about Yulia, though, was her Boy Mom behavior towards Constantine. I don't like Boy Moms and never will.

I hate Cerina. Because Cerina acted more sad and angry that her abusive father is dead than the fact that her father had been abusing Yulia for YEARS. although, having said all this rambling bullshit, i haven’t written a review of my own volition for so long. thank you to RK for writing something so alarmingly unhinged that my thumbs were just TWITCHING to unleash the dark thoughts inside my head. especially one of this vitriol passion. Anton and Maksim 👀. I REALLY wish I had some popcorn so I can sit with Sasha and watch them fight 🤣 This continues with the drama that unfolded at the end of book 2. Kirill’s at his supposed wedding with Kristina when she runs out, and he knows exactly why. She’s actually been in a relationship with his brother 👀, and when they’re confronted by her family and others, he reveals that she’s pregnant with his brother’s baby 😱. Kirill has known Konstantin and Kristina have been together secretly; he just wanted to make a dramatic announcement of it; that way, he could be voted to be the new Pakhan. This trilogy is a wild ride and the ending is definitely the best part of it all. Just have patience and Rina will deliver everything you want , be it anything lmao. Again another thing I loved in this book was the cameos of the other mafia world characters by this author!! I will never tire of seeing Adrian and Damein again 🫠This conclusion to 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐭'𝐬 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 was bittersweet for me! I 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸 it had to end but I wasn’t ready to leave Kirill behind! He was absolutely amazing! And Sasha was one of my favorite fierce female leads too. tbh, reading this passively... it’s not the worst shit RK has ever written. but this is three books worth of pent up aggression on my part, there’s only so much of Kirill’s delusional narcissistic arse that a girl can handle while she’s writing her dissertation and pissing blood to graduate.

Can I just say that for a nerd and sociopath, Kirill is one swoony mf. He is so calm and calculated and won't hesitate to use whatever means necessary to achieve his end goal, whether it be physical, mental, or emotional abuse, he is the master manipulator and deserves his role as Pakhan. I don't know why Kirill was calling out Sasha for being an overthinker and leaving him because of her insecurities when he was the one who didn't talk to her about the fake marriage with Kristina — his brother's wife. Like, please, she thought he had ended the engagement! I think Sasha was right because everything was slammed into her face at that moment. contemplative. tired. in need of rehabilitation. all that i have to comfort me is tanaz’s voice note of her screaming for ten seconds straight after she finished this. the ONE saving grace for me with this book were the side characters/couples— AntonMaks you will always be loved by me, where is their full length book i am SO serious 😩 i know RK is dipping her toes into mm with NikoBran let’s gooooo. don’t be so humble either because that is no small feat, you had some serious competition. but you managed to beat them all, and doing it with so much cringe???she truly never ceases to amaze me with each new release and i truly mean that in the most derogatory way possible. this book stripped me of my sanity. my dignity. my humility... i am a shell of the woman i was when i first started this book. The Story: It is always hard to write a review of a second or third book in a trilogy without giving things away, especially ones like Rina Kent writes since there is always a killer cliffhanger at the end of the previous book. This one is no exception. Though I don’t think it is giving anything away to let you know that things are no longer copasetic between Sasha and Kirill. She no longer believes the shady lies he has been feeding her. I honestly can’t wait to see if Rina writes about the supporting cast and I hope to hear more of Maskim and Yuri and their adventures in Russia. The love that these two shares is so powerful, it's a once in a lifetime kind of love. These two are so consumed by each other that you don't know where one starts and the other begins. There is no Kirill without Sasha and no Sasha without Kirill. I loved seeing the lengths Kirill will go for Sasha. We get to see more give from him, how he'd give up everything for her. How he puts her first and worships her, like I knew he would. He builds Sasha up into the Queen she was always meant to be.

After the brilliant pair that is Adrian and Lia, I can confidently say that Kirill and Sasha is my second fav Rina Kent pairing. and don’t get me started on his crinegy godawful inner monologue. seriously what in the Office was this??? him breaking the fourth wall to directly talk to the reader like he’s Fleabag was so bizarre and out of character for him. she really turned him into a caricature villain (despite him being the ‘hero’) with his godawful one liners and long-winded monologues. one of my friends said he had Doofenshmirtz energy and im so sorry to Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz of Evil Incorporated of the Tri-State Area... you have more character depth in that big ass chain of yours than Kirill had in this entire trilogy and i mean that with the upmost sincerity i am genuinely not being satirical whatsoever.

Heart of My Monster’ is the third and final book in the Monster trilogy. KirillSasha served so HARD. They are EVERYTHING to me. There was not one moment when I thought she was actually gonna make a final decision to kill/leave Kirill. And that makes her dull and weak heroine. Sasha’s reluctance 😅. I like that she didn’t cave right away and TRIED (bahahaha. Tried 🤣) to not have BBS. That’s why it takes time for them to finally reunite all the way 💁🏻‍♀️
