Lattice trellis panels are made up of small squares which distort the line of sight to what is behind the panel. Great for screening, the square design makes it easier to break up the shape and disguise bulkier objects behind. If heavy duty is your style, metal is a clear winner. It is the pinnacle of weather-resistant, durability, and strength – it beats all other materials in this area. So, if these are your priority, metal is a clear choice. However, some downsides of metal wheelie bin stores are they’re typically expensive, very weighty, and will only suit some garden designs. They may also rust if a rustproof coating hasn’t been applied, so look out for this when buying! Cancellation of pallets when items are already in transit will incur a 40 euro per pallet cancellation fee (To cover return delivery costs)

It’s made entirely from polyester and is suited for the outdoors, and it shouldn’t fade easily too, so should last you a while. It’s a really solid screen and can easily be attached to walls or bins etc, so it’s perfect for screening off your bins and making it fit in with your garden full of flowers. It’s not difficult to install and again, since these screens are multipurpose, there’s a few different ways you can screen your bins with them. We suggest in a corner or by placing the product directly onto the bins so it hangs off. It’s easy to hide your bins behind a neat, well-manicured hedge. Laurel, privet, and yew hedging are the best choices for bin stores because they’re low maintenance, so they won’t take up much of your time throughout the year. Top tip: ensure you choose an evergreen hedge; otherwise, you’ll be able to see your bins for half the year! Pallet wood is an excellent material to use if you choose to create wheelie bin storage yourself, as it’s cheap, environmentally friendly, and waterproof – it won’t warp and bend so long as it’s been treated! You could fix pallet wood planks to a metal frame, like below, or secure pallets together as they are to create a rustic-looking bin storage solution. Planning regulations force many homes to have a shorter fence at the front of their house, so even using a solid fence panel that allows no line of sight through the panel would probably not work for hiding standard height wheelie bins. If you have a wall at the front of your house and have permission to increase the height to provide more screening, slatted fence panels are a great option as they still allow light into the house. Our Jakpost® foot allows you to install fencing onto existing hard surfaces with ease. If you want to know how to increase the height of an existing boundary you can read our blog here. Hiding bins with a wheelie bin store And once your chosen camouflage is in place you can relax and enjoy your garden, knowing that it looks good from every angle.A folding woven willow screen is a more flexible option. Willow wheelie bin screenscome in sizes suitable for one, two or even three wheelie bins. Storage sheds In second place is the best trellis screen that’s on the market currently, and whilst these sorts of screens can be used in many ways and could even just be taken from some standard garden trellising, this one is the best designed for wheelie bins. It’s a natural, I’ve leaf trellis which completely takes the attention away from the bins, and it’s perfect for screening off your bin area or even areas of the garden you don’t want on show. With covers you’ll only need as many as the number of bins you have, assuming of course one screening cover will cover the entirety of each bin. So, just consider the price when you’re buying your screens, and hopefully it won’t run your wallet dry! Why not build your own wheelie bin screen? Made from natural woven willow with a strong metal framework, the strands of willow are woven round the metal framework, giving it an extra level of support as well as making each panel easy to move individually. Probably the most common option is to use a bin screen. A screen will usually be wooden (or perhaps raffia-style), will be anchored into the ground in some way (meaning they can't be installed on concrete, unfortunately), and will hide your bins from sight. This is the more expensive of the two options and requires a bit more work on your part, but a good screen can really disguise those bins.

The panels are hinged allowing you to easily access your bins if you need to relocate them or if you just want to put the rubbish out.Using slatted fence panels to hide bins is an effective technique to conceal or obstruct the view to what is behind. Relatively easy to install, with different styles available, slatted fence panels can even add a decorative touch to your garden. Louvre is a slatted fence panels that has wider, timber slats that are angled downwards to prevent anyone seeing through panel. A line of sight can only be seen from below at an upward angle meaning it is a very good panel for hiding unsightly bins and other garden objects. The Selections single wheelie bin screen can help keep your driveway looking smart, keeping one plastic bin covered up with attractive willow panels.

The screening is made from 4 separate panels that are connected by easy to attach hinges on the metal frame (the front has 2 panels). When together, the screen measures 115cm high by 121cm wide and 81cm deep. The hinged side panels can be opened easily to access the bin when it is time for the refuse to be collected, and just as easy to close afterwards. If you want to completely hide bins from sight, a slatted panel can still be used but opting for one you can’t see through, such as our Venetian Hit and Miss panel. With horizontal pales attached on alternating sides of the panel, you can only see through at a downward angle meaning what is behind the panel is hidden. Made from natural woven willow with a strong metal framework, it creates a rustic design to cover and disguise plastic bins. The willow is woven round the metal frame work, giving it an extra level of support as well as making each panel easy to move individually. If a contemporary design is your kind of style, a red cedar bin store may be just the thing for you. Red cedar is an excellent choice for a bin store, as it’s durable in damp climates. You can trust that your cedar bin store won’t decay, shrink, warp, or swell, even in the most severe weather conditions. Note: We don't ship plants on Fridays due to the extended period they would remain without light & water

When considering the aesthetic side of things, units aren’t the best, but they don’t look bad. For gardens with plenty of flowering plants, we suggest trellising screens. If you have lots of greenery or lots of plants, covers will help blend the bins in. How many bins? Venetian is a great fence panel to combine with climbing plants, as the vines will intertwine around the pales creating a green screen, which will eventually conceal what is behind. The panels are hinged allowing you to easily access your bins if you need to relocate them or if you just want to put the rubbish out. Each comes with its own set of wall hooks. These are used if you wish to anchor the panels onto a wall or the side of your home.

Rattan is another material that stands the test of time outdoors due to its ability to resist extreme weather – looking natural in the process – and its strength and flexibility. You can create simple wheelie bin storage using fence panels, timber frames, hinges, and rope handles for an ultra-natural effect. What’s more, you can add wheels on the base for portability! This should certainly be your first question. How much are you willing to spend? Be reasonable, be realistic, and don't spend more than you can afford. Since covers are usually cheaper than screens, your budget may determine which solution is right for you. What Kind of Commitment Do You Want? The screening is made from 3 separate panels that are connected by easy to attach hinges on the metal frame. When together, the screen measures 115cm high by 81cm wide and 64cm deep. The hinged side panels can be opened easily to access the bin when it is time for the refuse to be collected, and just as easy to close afterwards.

Finally, a more unique solution than some of our other options. This is a flexible screen option that includes artificial leaves to make this look just like a piece of hedging or the foliage in your garden. If you want to not only hide your bins away but also to thoroughly disguise them, then this is the option you've been looking for. You couldadd a green roof to your wheelie bin storage ortake it to the next level, making it a part of the landscape by incorporating a raised bed. Add some hardy perennial plants like lavender, ornamental grasses, and hostas to keep it exciting yet low maintenance. It’s a nice darkish colour and is made from natural woven material, but it has a steel frame which keeps it sturdy and supported. You can barely see the metal support too, so it just fits nicely in a garden by bringing a natural look to it. This will fit in most gardens in terms of how it looks, I would say unless you’ve got lots of stone features, then this is a screen which will fit in easily into your garden. It’s not too big either, and it even comes as separate panels that are hinged and connect at different angles, so you can modify it so that it fits your bins area nicely.
