The brand new Thanos bigfig represents an enormous improvement over previous designs and the heroes are superb too, especially given their remarkable quantity. Node-RED 3.x requires at least Node 14.x, but that reaches end-of-life in a couple months. These days you should really be using Node 16 at least or even 18. Avengers Compound Battle encapsulated issues which affect numerous Marvel Super Heroes sets, including unfortunate inaccuracies and superfluous vehicles. Those issues were understandable, given the notable secrecy surrounding Avengers: Endgame. 76192 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle therefore improves upon its predecessor quite dramatically!Unfortunately, the arms and legs both remain undecorated, although the head features superb detail. I particularly like the Wakandan letters which adorn the reverse, even though their small scale only enables identification of three letters as '...AK...N'. Another head, showing T'Challa's face, would have been appreciated but the present minifigure is satisfying. Stripes continue across both flanks of the van, interrupted by trans-orange side lights towards the front and rear. The dark brown band looks particularly effective and I like the curved wheel arches, which have never appeared in reddish brown before. The simple 6x6 tiles covering the roof seem surprisingly successful too, capturing the aforementioned boxy profile shape. Thanos employs a powerful double-bladed sword during Avengers: Endgame and this weapon looks quite impressive. The blades are curved which deviates from the jagged source material, although their reversed orientation is appropriate and the bigfig can grip the sword neatly. This set and its minifigure selection shares certain similarities with 76178 Daily Bugle, although the Spider-Man set contains many more new and long-awaited characters. Instead, I find the minifigures available here more akin to those in 10188 Death Star and 75159 Death Star, as much of the main cast is included, but there is relatively little to excite more seasoned Marvel Super Heroes collectors.
