Description

At first this story seems like your usual rebirth MC novels BUT as the story progressed and the plot revealed, it was full of twist and turns that take you into roller coaster of feels. Dog and cats were different by nature in terms of reproduction, so the dumb puppy originally didn't want to extend his furry paws to that cat. The relationship between the main two is a tumultuous one, deeply toxic and struggling to fix itself, and characterized by unhealthy codependency and a vicious hate-lust.

And in the case of his romantic feelings, he refuses to aknowledge them and instead turns them into pure hatred because he can‘t fathom not being in love with Shi Mei. Meatbun, the author has crafted this complex novel that would make you feel conflicted whether you would love the protagonist along the way. And after the secrets are revealed and things come to light that stayed hidden from him in the past life, he redeems himself, learns to love and forgive and cherish, and when Chu Wanning tells him that Hell is too cold and he is accompanying Mo Ran, Mo Ran's response was one that had me in tears. A historical fantasy epic about a tyrant’s second chance at life and the powerful cultivation teacher he can’t get out of his mind.

I know this reviews is not helpful at all, however, if you got intrigued by any chance, I guess, happy reading! I'm all for unconditional love and happy endings, but I found ML's unconditional love for the MC unbearable, because unconditional love doesn't work very well when it meets conditional love and abuse. For the characters, all of the characters themselves are told very real, there is no characters thats look to exaggerated or looks unreal.

I keep it to myself because I know I will get hate for it, but I genuinely like 2ha more than I like MDZS. I like two sentences in the novel very much: Youth will grow old, flesh and bone will decay, life will lose to time. I started this novel after I went through all the positive (and oftentimes emotional reviews) but then I was left with disappointment but also some understanding of why some others actually like it. I mean if he could really get out of control and come to his senses just because of "His great love for Chu Wanning. Be aware that he won’t shy away from telling you every single terrible thing he had done, so I wouldn’t recommend this if you can’t manage to enjoy very gray characters. It’s a beast of a thing to get through but it’s well worth reading if you like noncon, explorations of toxic codependency or angsty drama and ill-fated relationships. He was controlled by chess fraction plus he had a demon flower that's been planted in his body for over 8 years, so what do you expect?

Unlike authors who treat r*pe lightly as something they can use for their pe*verted characters, 2HA indeed has lots of warnings, but which are used for a character portrayal, madness and cruelty.

I really enjoy the story and this translation is amazing but I don't have no money, neither an access to my bank account so yh. After coming back to life, truth after truth that had been hidden below the surface in the previous life floated to the top and broke through the waters one after the other. At the beginning of the story you will be told that there are rumors that Xue Zheng Yong loves Lady Wang very much, while Lady Wang herself does not really love her. He has Xie Lian’s desire to help everyone around, no matter the pain inflicted on his persona, Lan Zhan’s tendency to let everyone think he’s someone to fear instead of someone to adore and Jiang Cheng’s pride preventing him from admitting real feelings and screaming rude things instead. His dream is never described in detail but he tells Mo Ran "Did you know, the most wonderful dreams are rarely ever real?
