When I smell the perfume, it makes me think of an arab sheikh sitting on a table full of money and smoking cigar haha. I find L’Aventure leaning more orange scented and CDNIM more dry/dirty lemon scented (at the opening). Also for the ones who say CDNIM has a “harsh” opening, you clearly don’t have the France version, because mine opens up smooth and perfectly. I think combining this with the elemi note creates an almost pineapple kind of smell, which is very beautiful. It's obviously got some citrus and pineapple but it's got what I can only describe as a glue note in it also but maybe I just need to let it macerate a little bit as you sometimes need to do with these clone brands.

L'Adventure has more in common with Lamborghini Invicibile, another one I own, but smells more natural and is even smoother than that one. The "standard version" has a more lively citrus, When I smell it up close on my wrist it can get a bit sour.

Established in 1970, we are market leaders and pioneers in producing fine and unique Middle Eastern fragrances, including our renowned Agarwood, Bukhoors, Attars, Eau de Parfums, Body Lotions and Deodorants. Loads of compliments, so good enough projection to be picked up walking around and being in the same room as others. While CDNIM nails the smokier and darker facet of Aventus, L'Aventure is lighter and brighter but undeniably still is Aventus, with a good amount of Lemon on top. There are just a much higher quantity of natural ingredients - especially ambergris - in Aventus when compared to LAI. I like it that it does not have a pineapple in it as it is something that I do not like about Aventus and the clones.

Edit: After an hour or so into the dry down I get more of the birch and the sweet orange note is barely there. You're gonna think I'm some kind of crazy dumbass but my self and others agreed it has some kind of weird oud note to it. Just like Aventus, it causes olfactory fatigue, you may not feel it after a few hours, but the compliments come when you least expect it. It dries down to a fruitier citrus feel from the piercing citrus notes that this fragrance opens up with. Even if my brother didn't bathe in two 100ml bottles of the standard version over the past 5 years and it wasn't a new fragrance sort of excitement I'd still prefer intense.I can't smell it at all after a few minutes, but did get some complaints in the office that it is too strong after only three sprays. However on an EXACT side by side comparison L’Adventure completely blows Aventus out of the water now, in terms of a better more refined and stronger opening, and much stronger projection and much longer longevity.

Finally, it settles to a classical base presence of rose and amber then it really stands out in a way that you are supposed to stand out in a unique manner that makes you appeal to being a success in life. If money is still not a problem but if the intimate projection makes you think you're flushing money down the toilet, go team L'Aventure or just forget about both.

I get zero fruit of any sort from this stuff, and after about an hour I get nothing except right on the skin a little bit of a carboard scent. Their other offerings in the Amber Oud (Tobacco Vanille and Baccarat Rouge 540 clones) as well as the Portfolio series (Neroli Canvas, Floral Sculpture, etc. Still not a 100% naturally smelling but way, waaay more natural than CDNIM and less sweat than Explorer or Aventus.

If I had to sum this juice up in one word it would be “refined”, but I like the dirty Smokey pineapple that older formulations of Creed used to produce. Starting out, this strikes me as being both closer to Aventus than CDNI in some ways, and further away in others. The opening accord of lemon and bergamot replaces the pineapple/apple of Aventus with some degree of success, but ultimately is the fragrances weakest link in its attempt to duplicate the same effect - though it should be noted L'Aventure, as a whole, doesn't have anywhere near the same quality of ingredients to work with. The next hour it stays at arms length, and then it becomes closer to the skin scent, but leaves a nice scent trail. Well, then you've done everything right in the Al Haramain fragrance house, you might think, but it's always a matter of looking at the two sides of the coin, i.However, it should remain with the experiment, because that smokiness is present, but unfortunately not in this transparent and natural way, which is precisely what makes the uniqueness of the great model so unique.
