Use brush bent to lift lashes from root to tip, and to access hard-to-reach lashes from inner to outer corner. The applicator isn’t anything special and is a pretty ordinary tapered head with tiny spikes that grasp lashes.

L’Oreal Unlimited Mascara is a new lash lifting and lengthening formula with a bendable wand that’s inspired by a makeup artist’s technique of bending a mascara wand for more control and lifting up lashes at the root. I was a little skeptical about the bendable wand/applicator but it actually does a good job getting under lashes and lifting them upwards to add more length. I bought this mascara at my local Ulta in the waterproof version as well and today was actually the first time I used it.

Now of course, you can apply this mascara however you like but L’Oreal suggest using the straight angle brush for the top lashes and then bending the wand to apply mascara to the inner and outer corners of the lashes. Givenchy did a bendable mascara that I didn’t get on at all well with – the L’Oreal is better than that one, in my honest opinion. I will say that I was amazed how very easily it removed, I used a miceller oil infused cleanser and usually it doesn’t take mascara off as easily as this came off, it seemed to just crumble right into the cotton and rub off in tiny little black flakes rather than dissolve into the remover and cotton.Easy enough to take off with a decent remover, I use a sherbet cleansing balm which shifts it with minimum effort. It created some nice length and the formula was very lightweight on my lashes without being heavy or wet.

You will not be disappointed in this product, once you've tried it you won't go back to your original mascara. I tried the non-waterproof mascara since that was the only option available to me at the Walgreens I purchased this at and I experienced no issues with it flaking or smudging.
